On November 19th, 2023, the Leo Club Hammamet turned their attention to a very important global health concern: diabetes. In honor of World Diabetes Day, we held an informative conference at the Sidi Ben Aissa , aiming to empower children with knowledge about this disease and how to live healthy, fulfilling lives alongside it.
Empowering Through Education
Our goal was to dispel myths and create a space for open discussion about diabetes. The conference featured presentations by a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. They explained the different types of diabetes, the risk factors, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition and regular physical activity.
